However, we’re so delighted that it’s that wonderful time of year again filled with warm sunshine, a gentle breeze, and the delightful sound of laughter echoing through the air. Yes, we are picturing the European summer. Of course, if you’re in the Middle East, the temperature is vastly different, but we always make the best of any situation. Summer brings a sense of nostalgia, reminding us of carefree days spent with friends and family. 

It’s also a time to focus on eating light, staying hydrated, and feeling our best so here’s a full day of meal inspiration using the Thermomix® that’s nutritious, delicious, and perfect for those sunny summer days. Full-Day Summer Meal Inspiration with Thermomix®

Morning: Turmeric Wellness Shot

It’s packed with protein, delicious, and incredibly easy to make, perfect for a relaxing summer evening. If you think steak is heavy for dinner, swap it with Turmeric Chicken Lime Skewers and Nectarine Salad — whatever you think is appropriate for your dietary needs.

Dessert: Pineapple Carpaccio with Strawberry Sorbet

For dessert, enjoy Pineapple Carpaccio with Strawberry Sorbet — a delectable treat that needs no introduction. It’s a simple two-ingredient recipe (as long as you already have the sorbet). Slicing a fresh pineapple with the Thermomix® Cutter or a knife and adding a homemade strawberry sorbet whipped up in the Thermomix® in just five minutes with two ingredients: frozen strawberries and yoghurt. You won’t believe how fresh this tastes and what a perfect palate cleanser it is!

Nightcap: Piña Colada

To cap off your summer night, quickly make a Piña Colada. You can make it virgin or with Malibu rum, depending on what you feel like having. It’s the perfect refreshing drink to end a day full of delicious meals.

Of course, the case is different if you have a big family. But this is just an example of how you can save food from going bad—we all love fresh produce, so we might as well use it on the same day and, most importantly, save money!
