Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our Thermomix business. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase, instalment payments, and overall use of our services. By purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms apply to all purchases made from our business, including but not limited to products, services, and payment plans.
1.2. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have legal capacity, and agree to abide by these Terms.
1.3. All sales are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1. All prices are listed in AED (UAE Dirhams) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
2.2. Payments can be made in full or through approved instalment plans as outlined in Section 3.
2.3. Payment methods include credit card, debit card, cash (for non-instalment sales), and other payment methods accepted by our payment processor, Stripe.

 

3. Instalment Payment Plans

3.1. Instalment plans are available for eligible customers and are subject to approval.
3.2. The terms of instalment payments, including amount, frequency, and total duration, will be provided at the time of purchase.
3.3. Ownership of the product remains with us until all instalment payments are completed.
3.4. Non-payment or late payment may result in additional penalties or the suspension of product warranties and services (see Section 6).

 

4. Terms and Conditions for Card Storage and Instalment Payments

4.1. Card Storage

4.1.1. Your payment card details will be securely stored through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment gateway, in accordance with industry security standards.
4.1.2. We do not store your card details on our servers. All card information is securely encrypted and managed by Stripe.
4.1.3. By authorising card storage, you consent to recurring charges as per the instalment plan selected during the purchase.

 

4.2. Use of Stored Card for Instalments

4.2.1. Your stored card will be used for recurring instalment payments as agreed upon at the time of purchase.
4.2.2. Instalment amounts, payment schedule, and total payment duration will be clearly communicated prior to processing the first transaction.
4.2.3. It is your responsibility to ensure the card remains valid, has sufficient funds, and is not expired during the instalment period.

 

4.3. Authorisation and Consent

4.3.1. By storing your card, you authorise us and Stripe to charge the agreed instalment amounts without additional consent for each transaction.
4.3.2. If a payment fails due to insufficient funds or other issues, additional charges or penalties may apply as outlined in Section 6.

 

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1. Payments made via instalment plans are final and non-refundable.
5.2. Refunds for full payments are subject to our discretion and may exclude delivery or administrative fees.
5.3. Warranty claims or product defects will be handled as per the warranty terms provided at the time of purchase.

 

6. Non-Payment and Penalties

6.1. In the event of non-payment due to insufficient funds, expired card details, or any other reason, you will be notified to update your payment details immediately.
6.2. If payments are not settled within 30 days from the due date, we reserve the right to take the following actions:

  • Suspend or cancel any ongoing product warranties or services linked to the product.

  • Report the delinquent account to credit agencies in compliance with UAE laws.

  • Pursue legal action to recover the unpaid balance, including any associated legal fees.

  • Reclaim the product, if permissible under UAE laws, until the balance is paid in full.

 

7. Security and Privacy

7.1. Your payment data is processed and stored securely by Stripe in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.
7.2. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

 

8. Ownership of the Product

8.1. Ownership of the Thermomix product remains with us until the full instalment amount has been paid.
8.2. You are responsible for the care and maintenance of the product during the instalment period. Failure to complete payments may result in the repossession of the product, in compliance with UAE law.

 

9. Returns and Refund Policy

9.1. Returns for Thermomix Items Only

9.1.1. We accept returns only for Thermomix items purchased from our store. All other items are non-returnable. Any bank or card payment processing fees will be deducted from refunds.

 

9.2. Initiating a Return

9.2.1. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the item. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@thermomix-me.com with your invoice or order number and reason for return.

 

9.3. Return Conditions

9.3.1. The product must be unused.
9.3.2. The product must be in its original packaging.
9.3.3. The product must be returned with proof of purchase.

 

9.4. Return Shipping Costs

9.4.1. Unless the product is defective, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item.

10. Warranty Terms

10.1. The Seller’s liability shall be limited to defects in material and/or workmanship which appear within a period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the Invoice Date, provided that Products are used in the proper manner and in accordance with the manufacturer’s written instructions as stated in the instruction manual supplied with the Product.
10.2. Defects arising as a result of fair wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, alterations, misuse, abnormal working conditions, or maintenance or repairs carried out by personnel other than Seller’s qualified personnel will not be remedied under Seller’s warranty.
10.3. The Purchaser shall, without undue delay, notify the Seller of any defect which appears. Such notice shall under no circumstances be given later than the expiry of the above-mentioned period of 24 months; otherwise, the right to have the defect remedied is lost.
10.4. Warranty terms are valid only within the UAE and against the presentation of the Tax Invoice.
10.5. For commercial clients, the warranty period is limited to 1 (one) year from the Invoice Date.

 

11. Compliance with UAE Laws

11.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
11.2. By using this service, you confirm compliance with all applicable UAE regulations, including those related to electronic payments and data protection.

 

12. Modifications and Termination

12.1. You may request to update or remove your stored card details at any time by contacting us. Removing the card may affect your ability to complete instalment payments.
12.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate card storage and instalment services in case of misuse or non-compliance with these terms.

 

13. Liability

13.1. While we strive to ensure secure transactions, we are not liable for any unauthorised access or misuse of your card details stored on Stripe’s platform.
13.2. Our liability is limited to the amount of the disputed transaction, if proven to result from negligence on our part.
